new year greeting cards

友人のための、結婚報告を兼ねた年賀状の印刷をしました。
結婚式のキーカラーに合わせたえんじ色。ご依頼ありがとう！

These letterpress new year cards were shipped out a week back for a couple who married last year. The color is the same as the key color of their wedding.

お恥ずかしながら年賀状の準備を今さらながらにしています。
今年は寅年。

I'm working on new year's greeting cards, finally...
I decided to use lead types I already have, instead of using plate, because there ware no time to prepare! 2010 is the Year of Tiger. This shape stands for Tiger in Kanji character.

今日は、五十番の肉まんがお供です。
big steamed meat buns! helped us to work.

the end of 2009

年末という気が全然しないまま、もう今年も残すところわずか。
友人から、鎌倉のお菓子を贈ってもらいました。
なんだか和のものにはほっとしてしまいます。ありがとう。

鳩サブレで有名な豊島屋さんのこの時期だけのお菓子。
大きな栗とやさしい食感が◎。

I can't believe it is almost the end of the year...only a few days left!
Today, I received a gift from one of my friends. it brought me good warm feeling, Thanks!

holiday season 2009

今年の12月は仕事の多忙さにかまけていますが、祝日のひとときに、キャベツとポルチーニ茸のパスタのランチ。
街はクリスマス一色ですが、うちも少しだけクリスマスの飾り付けをしました。
小さいサンタが森の動物たちと一緒にプレゼントを届けに行く絵本は、ドイツ語なので内容がわからないのですが、絵がとてもすてきで私たち夫婦のお気に入り。

Busy December! Tokyo is all decorated with Christmas illumination. We put some decoration things in front of the windows of living room. I love this big picture book which my husband brought from Germany.We can't read any German though...
It's holiday today, we enjoyed pasta lunch, spaghettini with cabbage and porcini. yum!
