megropress meets Melbourne -Idlewild Press 1

MMoPのMichael氏の活動に敬意を表し、新たなミュージアムのオープンを願った翌日、
もうひとり、Melbourneで会いたい人がいました。
Idlewild PressのCarolyn Fraserさんという方です。

Melbourneの北、Fitzroyという街、
"The Compound Interest Centre for the Applied Arts"という
興味深い場所があります。そこを訪ねました。

10組ほどの様々なアーティストが大きな空間をシェアするかたちで活動しているほか、
エントランスホールは、現代アートのギャラリーにもなっています。
彼女のスタジオは、2度の引っ越しを経て、今はこの建物の中にありました。

After said good bye and wished a good luck for MMoP, I had another appointment in Melbourne. It was of Carolyn Fraser, Idlewild Press, a.k.a. girlprinter. I've been really wanted to see her!
I visited her studio recently moved to "The Compound Interest Centre for the Applied Arts" in Fitzroy, the Northern part of the city of Melbourne.
